From November 7 to 9, 2025, the 44th China Aerated Concrete Industry Conference was held in Hangzhou. Sunrise New Materials attended the conference as an invited participant.
01 Technology Breakthrough: Unlocking the Core Value of Aluminum Powder in AAC
Guided by the theme "Quality AAC for Better Homes," the conference addressed the industry-wide challenge of inconsistent product uniformity caused by raw-material fluctuations and difficult process control. With deep roots in AAC raw materials, Sunrise New Materials presented technical solutions designed to overcome these challenges, and discussed with industry peers the path to industrial upgrading centered on pore structure control using aluminum powder.
On this occasion, Zhu Shuangdan, Chairman of Sunrise New Materials, delivered a presentation titled "Breakthroughs and Opportunities — The Key Role of Aluminum Powder in Future AAC Products." Addressing the key challenges facing the industry, he proposed three breakthrough solutions spanning raw-material optimization and process innovation.

①New Aluminum Paste for AAC: Precise Performance Control
Produced by atomization combined with graded ball milling, it allows the particle size D50 to be controlled within the range of 6–25 µm. The gas evolution end time can be adjusted in steps between 8 and 20 minutes, with the gas evolution volume held stable at 108 mL*, which offsets the production instability caused by variations in lime quality.
②Special Coating Process: Pore Structure Optimization
Its innovative aluminum surface-treatment technology uses a special coating to slow the initial gas evolution rate and improve gas evolution efficiency in the intermediate stage, producing a finer and more uniform pore structure in AAC. At a given dry density, the compressive strength of the finished product is significantly improved — at the D500 grade, for example, it can exceed 3.5 MPa — while thermal insulation performance is also enhanced.
③ Customized Solutions for All AAC Applications
To meet the requirements of AAC products across different dry-density grades, Sunrise supplies customized aluminum powder and aluminum paste products offering high-temperature resistance and enhanced safety. Quality is controlled at the raw-material stage, and through a collaborative optimization strategy that combines the four principal raw materials with aluminum powder, the company improves product uniformity and production stability.
02 Booth Highlights: A Full Range of Products Builds an Industry Collaborative Ecosystem
At the conference, Sunrise's booth showcased its core product — aluminum powder paste specially designed for AAC. Backed by a precise ball-milling process and special encapsulation technology, Sunrise's aluminum powder paste optimizes the pore structure and improves product strength. It is compatible with the full range of AAC production requirements from D100 to D600, meeting the industry's core demands for production stability and quality upgrading, and drawing many upstream and downstream enterprises from the industrial chain to stop by for exchanges and in-depth discussions.
The conference focused on the core needs of the AAC industry's development and provided a platform for closer alignment between the demand and supply sides, helping to break down information barriers within the industry.
