Congratulations on the Successful Convening of the 2025 Standardization Working Committee and Policy‑Regulatory Working Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association in Hefei

On August 12, 2025, the "2025 Working Meeting of the Standardization Working Committee and Policy‑Regulatory Working Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association", hosted by the China Coatings Industry Association and undertaken by Sunrise New Materials, was successfully held in Hefei, Anhui. Leadership of the China Coatings Industry Association, members of the Standardization Working Committee, members of the Policy‑Regulatory Working Committee, and industry representatives gathered together to contribute ideas and suggestions for the standardized development, innovation, and upgrading of the coatings industry.
01 Meeting Site
At the meeting, Liu Jie, Secretary‑General of the China Coatings Industry Association, delivered an address. He stressed that standardization work serves as a key pillar for the high‑quality development of the coatings industry, while policies and regulations guarantee the sound operation of the industry. The two working committees should give full play to their role as a bridge and bond, promote the alignment of industry standards with international practices, and help enterprises achieve technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading on the basis of compliance.

Subsequently, the working meeting of the Standardization Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association conducted in-depth discussions on improving the coatings-industry standards system and the plans for formulating and revising key product standards, and defined the key directions for standardization work in the next phase. The working meeting of the Policy-Regulatory Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association featured interpretations of and exchanges on the latest industry policy updates and key points for enterprises' compliance-based operations, providing practical guidance for companies to respond to policy changes.

During the meeting, Chairman Zhu Shuangdan extended a warm welcome to experts from the China Coatings Industry Association and all participants, and thanked them for their interest in and support for the development of Sunrise. 02 Site Visit: Inside Sunrise
After the meeting, the expert group of the China Coatings Industry Association, accompanied by Chairman Zhu Shuangdan, paid an in-depth visit to Sunrise New Materials. The tour covered key facilities of Sunrise, including its exhibition hall, R&D laboratory, and testing center.
Chairman Zhu Shuangdan elaborated on the company's development history to the expert group. From the arduous early days of the startup to gaining a firm foothold and achieving vigorous growth in the new-materials sector today, every step embodies the hard work and dedication of all members of Sunrise. The distinctive corporate culture and the management approach of its core leadership won unanimous praise from the experts present.
The R&D laboratory and testing center serve as the core base for Sunrise's technological innovation. As of 2025, through continuous R&D and innovation, Sunrise has achieved a total of 159 scientific and technological outcomes, including 30 ongoing research projects, 62 granted invention patents, 109 granted utility model patents, 73 provincial-level scientific and technological achievements, 11 provincial-level new products, and 7 innovation-oriented products. These fruitful results strongly demonstrate Sunrise New Materials' strategy of building solid foundations through scientific research and reflect the company's substantial strength and firm determination in technological innovation.
During the tour, representatives of the expert group held in-depth exchanges with Sunrise's management team on product applications, technological innovation, and industry development trends. Through this exchange, the expert group spoke highly of Sunrise's accomplishments in awards and qualifications, standard-setting, as well as R&D and patents.
